On September 24, 2021 at approximately 11:45am three male subjects were rescued from the Mississippi River.  These individuals were on a canoe expedition and stopped for the night.  The next morning, they realized two of their canoes were missing.  The Mississippi County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol was deployed and recovered one canoe.  The other one remains missing at this time.
