Drug Arrest (Hicks)

On March 17th, 2022 Deputies with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Departments Street Crimes Unit received information that Brandon Hicks was selling methamphetamine out of a City of Blytheville Waste Water vehicle.  The Street Crimes Unit, Sheriff's DTF and Probation/Parole observed Mr. Hicks traveling west on Main Street in a white Blytheville Waste Water truck.  Deputies noticed Mr. Hicks was not wearing a seat belt.  Deputies then pulled over the truck.  Due to Mr. Hicks being on active parole a search of the truck was conducted.  During the search Deputies located 5 hydrocodone pills, one loaded sawed off 16-gauge shotgun (removed serial number), pipe used for smoking methamphetamine, 8.4 grams of methamphetamine and one set of digital scales.  Mr. Hicks (39 years old) was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center and charged with the following;

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Possession of a Defaced Firearm

Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and a Firearm

Possession of a Firearm by Certain Person

No Seat Belt

Mr. Hicks was issued a $25,000.00 bond by Judge Shannon Langston.
