Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On August 12, 2022 Deputy Chris Hill stopped a vehicle on West County Road 314 near Manila for a traffic violation. During the stop, Deputy Hill made contact with the driver, Shelly Malloy Johnson and the passenger, Daniel Archer. During a search of the vehicle Deputy Hill located a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine, approximately 7.8 grams of marijuana, 5 suspected hydrocodone pills, 16 suspected alprazolam pills, one suspected Xanax bar, 6 suspected phentermine pills and approximately 278.5 grams of methamphetamine. Mr. Archer stated everything found belonged to him. Mr. Archer was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center and charged with the following;

Possession of a Controlled Substance (hydrocodone)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (phentermine)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (alprazolam)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Tampering with Physical Evidence
Mr. Archer will appear in Blytheville District Court on Monday, August 15, 2022.
