Dougan Street Arrest

On April 21st 2017, Agents with the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force, which is comprised of Officers from the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department, Osceola Police Department, and Blytheville Police Department, along with officers from the Blytheville Police Department Special Response Team, and Deputies from the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence located at 419 Dougan Avenue in Blytheville. Upon entry officers utilized a distraction device and soon made contact with a black male identified as Jerome Colley. Colley was restrained and a search of the residence was done. During the search Officers located a small amount of suspected Crack Cocaine, a small amount of suspected Marijuana, several set of digital scales, and other items used in the distribution of narcotics,  as well as a stolen firearm. Colley was arrested and transported to the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department where he was charged with Possession of a controlled substance Crack cocaine, possession of a controlled substance Marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a certain person, and theft by receiving. The evidence was weighed and field tested on site which yielded positive results for Crack Cocaine, and Marijuana, and had approximate weights of .01 grams, and 10 grams. Blytheville animal Control also responded and removed three dogs from the residence.
